What are the difference between Powder brows and Ombre brows?Powder Brows: Technique: Powder brows, also known as "soft brows" or "powdery brows," involve creating a gradual and natural-looking gradient of color from lighter at the front and the upper arch of the brows and define at the lower arch of the brows. The effect is similar to soft and powdery makeup technique where colors blend seamlessly. Appearance: Powder brows mimic the appearance of softly filled-in eyebrows with makeup. They are not as bold or defined as traditional eyebrow tattoos, which makes them suitable for those who prefer a subtle, everyday look. Healing Process: Powder brows typically heal lighter 20 - 40% than the initial application, which can be surprising to some clients. The color tends to settle and become more natural during the healing process. Ombré Brows: Technique: Ombre brows, involve creating a grandient and makeup look throughout the entire brow area. This technique resembles the appearance of well-defined, filled-in brows. Appearance: Ombre brows have a more defined and solid appearance compared to Powder brows. They are excellent for achieving a full and polished look, especially for clients with sparse or no natural eyebrows. Healing Process: Unlike powder brows, ombre brows tend to retain their initial color better after healing. The end result is a more consistent and defined look.

What is Brows Microblading?Microblading is also referred to as 3D Brow Embroidery/ Feather Strokes. Unlike the traditional solid eyebrows tattoo, Microblading gives you the illusion of a realistic natural brow look. It is the best alternative to makeup or even other permanent makeup procedures. Microblading is the latest semi-permanent makeup tattoo. Microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted by a manual handheld instrument with a fine multiple needle in a row that deposits pigment into the dermis with stroking movements. This technique will create very crisp, fine hair strokes and give you beautiful and realistic-looking eyebrows. Microblading typically lasts 1 to 2 years ( results will vary depending on the client's exposure to the sun, resistance to pigment, and skin regimen). This method can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost uneven eyebrows and thinning brows from age or over-tweezed brows. This technique can also help those who have lost their hair from cancer treatments, injuries, or alopecia get the appearance of full, natural brows. Eyebrows alone have the power to transform a face, and a well-groomed, well-defined brow can make you look years younger. Microblading allows everyone to now achieve the perfect natural brow.

Can I swim, shower, exercise, or visit a spa while wearing Eyelash Extensions? "Yes. BUT ONLY 12 HOURS AFTER your Eyelash Extensions service. The bonding agent we use is waterproof and allows you to shower, swim, exercise etc. Special care is required but overall maintenance is low. We do NOT recommend however that you use heavy water, such as in the shower on your lashes for about 12 hours after the eyelash application. A light mist is fine.
-
Can I apply mascara or eyeliner to Eyelash Extensions?Yes, for ONLY CLASSIC EXTENSIONS. Even though mascara and eyeliner are not really required since the extensions actually give the illusion of wearing mascara, they can be worn. It must, however, only be water-based mascara and eyeliner. DO NOT USE OIL-BASED OR WATER-PROOF MASCARA/ EYELINER. Waterproof mascara or any oil-based mascara can dissolve the bonding agent and shorten the life of your eyelash extensions, causing them to fall sooner. Care also needs to be taken in washing off the mascara. Only use a water-based eye makeup remover. No, if you have volume lash extensions. Applying mascara can cause the volume fan to close up and look clumpy and ruin the extensions.
-
Can I use Eyelash Curlers with Eyelash Extensions? We do not recommend using mechanical eyelash curlers on your eyelash extensions as these curlers will damage the extensions and possibly your own natural lashes. The extensions do have a natural curl but if more of a curl is required we recommend using a heated eyelash curler.
-
What happens during the application? After assessing the best curl, thickness, and length for you, I will clean and prime your lashes then apply under eye gel pads to keep your lower lashes down during the procedure. Talking should be kept to a minimum simply because facial movements will affect the time it takes to apply extensions and could potentially move the eye pads. We'll listen to music and usually clients fall asleep because the procedure is relaxing and generally painless.

Chrissanthie eyelid cleanser (or Sterile) is highly recommended to keep lashes clean from makeup or other debris. Keep in mind if you wear lower eyeliner and/or mascara, every time you blink, that makeup is touching your extensions and building up at the base of your lash line and slowly breaking down the adhesive. Using a lash wand to comb the lashes free of tangles in the morning and evening is strongly recommended. If you're a wild sleeper, sleep on your sides or stomach, and consider a sleeping eye mask to protect your lashes. DO NOT wear waterproof mascara or any oil-based cosmetic product like makeup removers, cleansers, or moisturizers.DO NOT tint eyelashes. DO NOT pull your eyelash extensions.
